Helen grew up in Steeton and attended South Craven School, so her knowledge of the local area goes back a long way. Before moving into estate agency, she worked in travel and sales, bringing plenty of experience in customer service and dealing with people. As a Property Consultant, she now works closely with sellers and buyers throughout their move, combining that experience with a genuine knowledge of the area she has always called home.

Charlotte OverendProperty Consultant
MoreCharlotte OverendProperty Consultant
Charlotte has called Sutton home for the past 15 years and knows the local area extremely well. Before moving into estate agency, she worked in recruitment, bringing plenty of experience in working with people and communication. Charlotte job shares with Emma, reflecting our belief that a good work life balance is particularly important when raising a young family. She is often the first person clients speak to when they call the office and also carries out viewings on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Outside work, Sutton Park is a regular stop with her children, Thomas and Amelia.

MoreEmma ThroupProperty Consultant
Emma lives in Glusburn and has been part of the Leightons team longer than any of our other employees. She job shares with Charlotte, working Mondays and Tuesdays, allowing them both to balance their roles at Leightons with raising young families. Emma is often the first person clients speak to when they call the office and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside work, she’s a big supporter of local shops and places to eat, with the park a regular stop with the kids when the weather allows.

Michelle HodgsonProperty Consultant
MoreMichelle HodgsonProperty Consultant
Michelle grew up in Cross Hills and Sutton and attended South Craven School, so her connection to the local area goes back a long way. With previous experience working in conveyancing, she brings a strong understanding of the legal side of moving home. Her main role at Leightons is sales progression, helping sellers and buyers through the process once a sale has been agreed, although she likes to break up the week by getting out of the office to carry out viewings too. Outside work, most of her spare time is spent with family and friends or at the gym.
